Was just watching Meatballs with my son and had a flashback to the classic show, Battle of the Network Stars. Did not Howard Cosell do the mc ing?

I love the 70's

yeah baby, got to find some youtube clips of this show, because explaining it to a 13 year old just does not cut it.
Trivia question: What was the name of the camp in Meatballs in which Bill Murray was the counselor?
They battled Mohawk camp in the camp Olypiad.

Peace out

Ok I did not know this till last night watching Meatballs, but the name of the camp was Northstar Camp, not to be confused with northstar dead

yes Joe sunk like a rock and Gabe Kaplan had some shorts that were way too tight. I recall Robert Conrad being a little too competitive.

Bob Conrad was a spaz. You are correct elbow. The best would be cosell's great transitions when he did the interviews. One moment he's be interviewing a gal from Chips or Fall Guy asking her how she won the 100 yard dash in record time and the second she respond he'd sock her with a question about her divorce or drug charges.

To this day I think CBS should have used Lou Ferrigno in the tug of war. i don't care if he's take up half the team with his weight.
